Dear “Gang,”
Thanking you foe the Yuletide remembrance. It certainly did its share to bring about more reminiscing of days at Bryant. Since leaving Bryant and entering the Air Corp Finance Unit, I have taken courses at Wake Forest College, Duke University and Baylor University. I can truthfully say that life at Bryant topped them all.
In your letter you speak of Major Lee ….My Commanding Finance Officer is Captain R. L. Hellstrom who also hails from Providence and is another one of Major Lee’s great admirers.
Was sorry to hear that THE Scott House is being inhabited by the fairer ex, but then I’m sure that they’ll take as good care of it as we BETAS (S’pose I should say Tau Eps too) did.
Oh yes, I bumped into Lt. Hammond at Miami Beach about five or six months ago.
Am looking forward to seeing New England (well, good old Enfield, Conn. and Bryant anyway) before I make that trip that we’re all being prepared for. SO until I see you all, So Long….
Sincerely,
Charles Wielgus
