Dear Douglas:

Not too much to write you about this morning but just want you to know that I am sending you some cookies and will be interested to know in what condition they arrive. I sent a few in the round tin box so that you could use that to keep any that you do not eat at once. If you can snitch a piece of bread from the restaurant to keep in with them, it will keep them nice and moist...
