Dear Students
I wish to thank you very much for the cigarettes you sent me for Xmas. Although I did not receive them until the other day they sure were appreciated. The mail system here is slow and we have to wait for our mail. I sure do wish I was back in Prov. again as this place is a cold spot. 20 below zero is not uncommon here. We boys sure do appreciate the things you students are doing for us. We are training here to be radio operators on bombers and we are looking forward to the day when we are assigned to a base and begin flying over those Japs and lay a few eggs. Well thanks again and keep them flying.
