Dear Mom,
It’s really getting warm now. It must have been almost 100° today. We had a rifle inspector in ranks today. It took about an hour, boy that was hell. Then I went to P.T. only to come back just in time for a parade. Boy I’m burned to a crisp. Tonight our Squadron had “rec” privileges and we went swimming in the pool that was just opened. It’s swell, but very warm. I didn’t stay in long, I’ve got to watch my sinus too! (I print that so it’s not so obvious.) I finish classes Teusday [sic], and am going to ship on the 27th, either to Florida, Georgia, Tenn, So. Carolina, or Ark. I wish I new where.
Say honey, how are those old “Grapes” of yours? You take care of yourself, they don’t sound to good to me. If you ever need me honey, contact me through the Red Cross, it will save a great deal of time in mu securing a furlough. Well, darling, I’ve got some finals coming up. Thank Bob + Nan for the letters. I love you, Judd
P.S. Did Judy forget how to write?
